Coffee Hour:  Please join us for coffee hour after the 8:30AM and 10:30AM Services.  All are welcome.
Newcomers:  If you are interested in receiving more information about St. Peter’s Church please feel free to call the church office or fill out an information card that is located in your pew.  If you would like to be added to the church directory please call the church office. 
Pledges:  Please remember to send your 2012 pledge cards to the church office or place in the offering plate during the service.  Pledges may also be made by phone.  Thank you to all those that have already completed and returned their cards. 
Vestry Election Results:  Jim Chenot was elected Senior Warden for his second two-year term, George Scala and Jack Healy were elected for their second three-year term as Vestrymen, and Mark Lundberg was elected for his first  three-year vestry term.  Congratulations to all!
DOK Discernment Class:  The Daughters of the King discernment class will not be meeting today.  Classes will resume next Sunday, February 12th following the 10:30AM service in the classroom on the 2nd floor and will continue through Sunday, March 4th.
TRI-CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION BEGINS:  A year long celebration of the 300th Anniversary of St. Peter's Church has been planned.  The Celebration begins today with an invitational service for the entire diocese to come and mark the beginnings of what would become the Albany Episcopal Diocese.  We welcome Bishop Love who will be preaching.  A birthday reception will follow in the newly renovated “Parish Hall”. 
Children’s Procession to Kick Off Tri-Centennial Celebration:  A Children and Young People’s Procession will begin the Tri-Centennial Celebration today at the 10:30AM service.  The theme for this event is New Faces for an Old Church.  This procession will precede the Service Processional.  We want all the younger members of the       St. Peter’s Family to participate.  Participants will gather at 10AM in the Pumpelly Room to get balloons, flags and banners to carry in the procession.  We hope parents with toddlers and babies will join the Sunday School and the Youth Group to process as we begin this happy celebration.  Come!  Join!  Begin the 300th Anniversary Celebration of St. Peter’s!
Valentine’s for Vets:  Next Sunday, February 12th the Sunday School children will be making “Valentines for Veterans”.  These special valentines will be made for past and present Armed Forces veterans.
Outreach Committee and Vestry Meetings:  These February meetings will be held on Tuesday, February 14th.    Outreach Committee will meet at 4:30PM and Vestry will meet at 5:15PM.  
Angels in Training:  This month the Angels in Training will feed the homeless at Grace and Holy Innocents on Saturday, February 18th from 11AM to 1PM. We are in desperate need of helping hands! Please consider helping for these 2 hours and give back to those less fortunate.  Also, there is a huge need for men’s winter coats (all sizes) and children’s winter coats (infant to size 13).  Please bring them to St. Peter’s and give to Laura Saffares or leave them in the church office.  Thank you for your support.
Northeast Regional Food Bank:  On Sunday, February 19th we will be volunteering at the Northeast Regional Food Bank from 1PM to 3PM.  Please come and help our community organize the much needed food donations! Thank you to all of the families that have volunteered in the past, and we look forward to the new and old families to come together to help our community.  All ages are welcome to volunteer.  Hope to see you there!
