Paul J. Hartt attended New York University and earned a B. A. in Philosophy. He next attended the "Great Books" program at the Graduate Institute at Saint John's College in Annapolis, Maryland, and worked in admissions at NYU. While there, he married his wife Jeffrey, and they have been married thirteen years. After discerning a call to the priesthood, Paul went on to receive a Master of Divinity degree from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale, and his son, Samuel, was born in New Haven. Paul served as curate at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Mystic, Connecticut, and came to St. Peter's after serving six years as Rector of St. John's, Delhi, and Priest-in-Charge at St. Peter's, Hobart. He currently serves as president of the Standing Committee of the Diocese of Albany.

The Rev. John A. Thorpe grew up in the environs of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended Oral Roberts University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Theological and Historical Studies and another in Music Composition. While at college he met and married his wife, Beth. Fr. John attended Yale Divinity School through the Yale Institute of Sacred Music and graduated in 2005, receiving a Master of Divinity degree from Yale Divinity School, a certificate of Liturgical Studies through the Institute of Sacred Music, and a Diploma of Anglican Studies from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. He was ordained to the transitional Diaconate June 11, 2005, at the annual Diocesan Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Albany, and subsequently hired by St. Peter's to serve as Curate. He was ordained to the priesthood on December 23, the Feast of St. Thomas, 2005, at St. Peter's.

The Rev. Christine Wickman, Deacon |
Deacon Christine Wickman grew up in the south of England as an active member of the Church of England. After school and college she worked seven years for the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, Austria, in Office Management and Data Processing, and eleven years for IBM UK Laboratories, Winchester, UK, as Systems Analyst and Planner. In 1978 IBM assigned Christine to Kingston, NY, where she met and married husband Tom. They live in Glenmont and have five daughters and three granddaughters.
During her twenty-six years as an Episcopalian, Deacon Christine has been involved in most aspects of church life, serving as Vestry Member and Warden, Parish Administrator, and President of the ECW in a previous parish. At St. Peter's Christine has been involved with many internal church activities (e.g. Bible and book studies, Alpha) and outreach ministries (e.g. Meals for the Homeless, Knit for Kids). She was Manager of the Church Mouse Thrift Shop for seven years. Deacon Christine is a "Daughter of the King" and has founded two chapters. She also serves on the Board of The Episcopal Counseling Service. She was ordained in June 2006.
