Women of St. Peter's
The Women of St. Peter's Church is a fraternal organization. Its members are all women parishioners of the historical St. Peters Church in Albany who meet annually to discuss events relating to the grant process and to provide support to the Choir, the Altar Guild, and to operate and man the Church Mouse Thrift Shop. The Women of St. Peter's Church strives to provide friendship and outreach to all members of the church community.
Women of St. Peter's Church Grant Process
The Women of St. Peter's Church Grant Request Process provides opportunities for deserving businesses and organizations in the Capital District to implement projects and/or services to members of the community. The goal of the grant process is to offer tangible resources and direct outreach to our community in keeping with the values and objectives of the St. Peter's Church ministry. Grant applications are available in the spring, typically due by April 25th of a given year, and rendered shortly thereafter. Recipients are expected to provide grant summaries by January of the following year, which are reviewed and utilized to evaluate future programs and the grant process. The grant process derives all funds from sales at the Church Mouse Store, a church thrift shop stocked with donated clothing and merchandise.
